Mobile Vietnam 2012 to be held in October
    18:09 | 16/08/2012

The International Mobile Vietnam Exhibition and Conference 2012 (Mobile Vietnam 2012) will be held from October 18 to 21, 2012 in Hanoi, bringing a great opportunity to operators and vendors in the ICT sector.

The event is co-organised by the Centre for Press and International Communication Co-operation (CPI) – Ministry of Information and Communications; the Vietnam Exhibition Conference and Advertisement JS.CO (VCCI EXPO); and the Number One Media Technology Corporation.

Mobile 2012 offers opportunities for companies to promote their brand and showcase their new products and services, establish new relationships, expand markets and increase brand awareness of products. The event is also a chance for businesses to conduct sale programmes to promote their new products and services, as well as to clear older stock and establish connections with leaders of governmental organisations and other potential partners and investors.

According to the organising board, the exhibition is expected to attract nearly 50,000 visitors, along with more than 100 press and television organisations to cover the events. This is the place to gain premium market exposure to the largest and most influential gathering in the Vietnamese mobile industry.

A recent IDC report projected information and technology (IT) spending in Vietnam to grow 19.2% in 2012. The total IT market in Vietnam is expected to reach USD3.25 billion. If this market forecast materializes, Vietnam will be among the top IT spenders in the Asia-Pacific in 2012./.
