All four Vietnamese students participating in the 44th International Chemistry Olympiad held in the USA have won medals, including one gold.
Pham Gia Huy from the Tran Phu Gifted High School in the northern port city of Haiphong bagged a gold with a score of 89.55/100.
The two silvers went to Nguyen Van Phuong from the Nguyen Hue Gifted High School and Nguyen Viet Hoang from the Hanoi-Amsterdam Gifted Senior High School.
The bronze was presented to Tran Thi Mai Huong from the Le Hong Phong Gifted High School in the northern province of Nam Dinh.
Previously, six Vietnamese students at the 53rd International Math Olympiad hosted by Argentina also won medals. Attentively, student Dau Hai Dang from Hanoi University of Pedagogics pocketed a gold medal./.
