(CPV) – The Thailand Trade Exhibition 2012 will take place from August 9 to 12 in the Hanoi Cultural Friendship Palace with the participation of nearly 130 Thai companies displaying 200 kiosks with a wide variety of commodities.
This information was announced in a press briefing in Hanoi on July 26. The event will be co-organised by the Trade Promotion Department under the Thailand Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi and the Vietnam Trade Fair and Advertising Joint-stock Company.
Commodities on display in the exhibition include food and drink, fresh fruit, housing appliances, garments and textiles, jewelry, electronic equipments, products for health care, automobile and motorbike components and decorative appliances.
Mrs. Busaba Butrat, Thai Commercial Attache of the Thai Embassy spoke at the press briefing that after attractive successes of fairs on Thai products in Hanoi over the past eleven years, Thai traders, investors and businesses recognised the potential of the Vietnamese market.
Apart from Thai traditional products, this year’s exhibition will have new commodities on display, especially those from well-known craft villages of Thailand such as spa and hotel services.
The exhibition, together with the purpose of introducing Thai products in the Vietnamese market, offers opportunities for Thai traders to survey market as well as seek partners in Vietnam./.
