    A seminar on preserving and promoting Ha Long bay – a world natural heritage site will take place in Ha Long city, the northern province of Quang Ninh, on July 24th.

    The event will be held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee to make a breakthrough in awareness and develop solutions towards sustainable tourism development preserving Ha Long bay,.

    The seminar is expected to draw the participation of 150 representatives from ministries, committees, localities and scientists, and several international organizations.

    Participants at the seminar will discuss shortcomings in tourism development in Ha Long bay as well as opportunity and challenges in the development; share experience in heritage tourism development; and propose solutions in planning, managing, preserving, investing and organizing services to improve the tourism environment in Ha Long bay./.
