    900 outstanding pupils in Hanoi honoured

    On May 22nd, Hanoi City Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to honour 900 outstanding pupils representing
    nearly 1.4 million students from more than 2,500 educational establishments in the capital in the 2011-2012 school year.

    In 2011-2012 school year, the capital’s education and training sector continues to be the leading unit in the results of outstanding students. Remarkably, 11 students from high schools in Hanoi won prizes at international contests and 125 students won prizes at national contests for outstanding students.

    This year, for the first time, Hanoi high school students participated in a contest on science and technical research. A group of students from Hanoi-Amsterdam gifted school won the first prize in the field of electric technique and mechanics at the international contest./.
