    State President visits Ho Chi Minh museum

    President Truong Tan Sang paid a working visit to Ho Chi Minh museum on May 16, on the occasion of the 122 nd anniversary of the late President’s birthday (May 19).

    President Sang commended the efforts of museum staff in preserving Uncle Ho’s precious objects.

    He asked the staff to improve their professional skills as well as apply advanced technology in preserving documents and objects related to President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary cause.

    The museum is the custodian of 20,000 books and 13,000 objects related to President Ho Chi Minh.

    The same day, a photo exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh and Thai Nguyen safe zone opened in Thai Nguyen city, in the northern mountainous province of Thai Nguyen .

    On display at the exhibition are documentary photos and objects during the time President Ho Chi Minh stayed in the Thai Nguyen safe zone during the resistance war against the French colonialists.

    The exhibition runs until May 20./.
