    Vietnam and Israel to foster cooperation in agriculture

    (CPV) - The Vietnam’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat is having an official visit to Israel and attend the 18th International Agricultural Exhibition (Agritech) from May 15 -16.

    During the visit, Minister Cao Duc Phat will have official meeting with Israel’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs. Orit Noked. The two sides will sign an Agreement on Cooperation in Animal Health and quarantine.

    Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1993, the cooperation in agriculture between the two nations has been increasing during the last three years. The establishment the dairy demonstration farm in Ho Chi Minh City and the Joint venture of TH Milk in Nghe An province are considered the highlights in the cooperation between the two Governments as well as business to business cooperation.

    The 18th Agritech Exhibition also attracts about 30 representatives from Vietnamese agencies and companies.

    Agritech is one of the world’s most important exhibitions in the field of agricultural technologies, with the participation of world’s leading enterprises, distributors, manufacturers, researchers in this area./.
