    Rare mushrooms found in Cat Tien National Park

    Two rare species of mushroom, the pleurotus cornucopiae and the césar amanita caesare, have been discovered in Cat Tien National Park.

    Both species are very nutritious and also have medicinal properties.

    Cat Tien National Park spans across the central highlands province of Lam Dong and the southern provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc. In 2001, it was recognised by UNESCO as the world’s 411 th biosphere reserve./.
