    32 Overseas Vietnamese visit Lao Cai

    (CPV) -
    Lao Cai People’s Committee received a delegation of 32 Overseas Vietnamese in Lao Cai province at the end of March.

    A delegation of 32 Overseas Vietnamese from 19 countries, including Laos, Thailand, the UK, Poland, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, Angola and Malaysia visited Lao Cai province on March 29, led by Mr. Le Van Duong, a Vietnamese American.

    During the meeting, Lao Cai province introduced the potential of the province and its attractive investment areas. The delegation also heard about the process of demarcation and planting border landmarks.

    The delegation expressed interest in calling for investment to Lao Cai, strengthening investment and tourism promotion abroad with the aim of helping Lao Cai province to develop.

    In addition, the delegation visited Sa Pa resort and the border post at Lao Cai border gate. The group also sent gifts to the soldiers at the Y Ty border post, to express their interest in and gratitude to the soldiers in border areas./.
